Wow! Time for me to catch up on my posts now that it is summer time and we are back from all our adventures!
This June we ventured down to Pike Place Market (on a sunny, busy, day…not my brightest idea)–but the good part was we got to visit Pike Brewing, which we love! Not only is it a great place to get away from the craziness that can be Pike Place, but they have good food and great brews, and most importantly they are half pint friendly!
They have a wonderful kids menu that includes more than just your normal kids food (mac n cheese, chicken, hot dogs). Our son likes their pizza, so he usually goes with that. We were lucky when we were there because they are were out of kids crust so we got a big pizza that fed our little half pint for a few days:) They also have a coloring menu that the kids can color on (or in our sons case, eat the crayons) AND they always give the kiddos stickers!
My husband and I both love their fish and chips and of course the GREAT beer. Kilt Lifter is still my favorite (although, I usually try to get something else when I go there since I can get that in bottles).
So next time you are down in the market area stop by this great kid friendly establishment to unwind from the crowds of the market. Your kids will love it and so will you!
