On our way home from eastern Washington this weekend we decided to stop off at the Snoqualmie Falls Taproom, since we have not been there since the remodel. Before we had our son it was one of our go to stops on the way home from my dads, so we were excited to check it out with Flynn!
This place is MUCH nicer since the remodel; a lot more room, bigger bathrooms and just more space in general. Side note, the women’s bathroom has not only a changing table but also a nice little chair in the handicap stall in case you have to bring a little one with you into the potty:)
Now onto the beer. I had their spring seasonal (Spring Fever Grand Cru) and LOVED it–but I’m always a sucker for a nice Belgian. My husband had the black IPA (it was ok, not very hoppy), and the summer seasonal which was REALLY light pilsner.
The food was good too. I had the Veggie sandwich and my husband had the grinder. They have a nice little kids menu–which had grilled cheese so our little half pint was happy! They also had crayons and paper for the little ones. Our waiter, Jake, was really great and was attentive despite the fact that right when we got there they got slammed!
If you have a kiddo (or if you don’t) this really is a great place–and Snoqualmie is a great little town. You can enjoy the park, the trains, the falls, the shops and of course the beer!
So cheers! and I hope you are all enjoying and taking advantage of this AMAZING weather!
- Take advantage of the trains, trails and parks!
- They have pizza–which is always a plus when you have the kids.
- It gets really busy in the summer, so plan on waiting or go during an off time
